Vietnam visa requirements for Chilean citizen
If you are holding a Chile Ordinary passport, you are exempted for a Vietnam visa following the agreement between the Governments of Vietnam and Chile (effective from 11 Aug 2017). You can use this visa exemption right when travelling by any type of transport.
Important note:
+ Your passport is required to have at least 6 months of validity counting from your expected arrival date
+ The new entry date must be at least 30 days apart from your last exiting date in Vietnam using visa exemption. If the time distance is less than 30 days, you still need to apply for a visa.
+ Maximum permitted length of stay for each entry is 90 days
+ The purpose of entry does not include remunerated activity
For Chilean passport holders who are required entry visa to Vietnam, you need to arrange a valid visa before departure.
If the time distance is less than 30 days, you still need to apply for a visa. Please choose one of the following options:
- Contact Viet Nam Embassy or Vietnam Consulates nearest to your place to get visa stamped before you arrive Vietnam. The processing time is usually 4-5 working days.
- Apply visa on arrival (Recommended): This is designed for travel by air only. You can get the visa letter within 2 working days (normal process) or within 1 working day (urgent process) then the visa stamp will be issued upon your arrival in Viet Nam. APPLY NOW
Note:
- Make sure your passport has minimum 6 month validity and left pages
- If you plan to arrive by land, you need to obtain a visa beforehand, visa on arrival will not work for land entry
