How to apply Visa Vietnam for Hong Kong citizens?

My name is Yannick YAMANGA.
I have to travel tomorrow Monday 17th of august to HCM from Hong Kong.
I have unfortunately didn’t received the approval letter.
Would you please let me know when I will receive it. As I urgently need to get this flight.
Also do you know if I need this approval letter if i flight with Vietnam airlines?
It’s urgent because my flight is at 7.55am from Hong Kong.

However, as we have discussed via phone, the Immigration Department is closed during weekend and they will only go back to work from 8.00 AM tomorrow on Monday (Vietnam time, GMT +7). Hence, you might not be able to receive your visa result before your departure.
Therefore, please carefully check with the airline if you can board the plane without the approval letter since this also depends on every different country. Once you arrived at Tan Son Nhat airport, we then will be able to help you.
