Transit Visa

Hola, soy mexicana y quisiera adquirir un vuelo que hace escala en Vietnam por algunas horas ¿Es necesario el visado? ¿Puedo documentar maleta y volver a entrar o necesito viajar sin documentado?

I am a canadian citizen and have applied for a Vietnam Visa . However on my way back I will make a one day transit in Hanoi on our way from Vientiane to Seolln with Vietnam airways .I live in Toronto and wonder how I should proceed . Thank You. My overall itinerary is entrance into Saigon thru Mekong River , then we fly to Hanoi from Saigon , and on to Vientiane .On my way from Vientiane to Seoul, I will have to stop in Saigon and fly the following day because we are flying Air vietnam. This is the transit visa of one day we need . .

Please check with your airlines agent if you have to go out the Vietnam Immigration gate (isolated area) to reach the baggage claim belt for transit flight via Vietnam to Thailand.

If yes, you have to get Vietnam visa to pass Immigration checking booth. In case your luggage will be automatically transferred from a flight to another and you do not go out the isolate area, visa is not required.
