I will be travelling to Vietnam arriving via the Crystal Symphony Cruise ship on Dec 25, 2014 and leaving on the same ship on Dec 28 2014. I wish to obtain a Visa for Vietnam for Tourism. Please forward me an application form as all I can find on this web site is for arrival via aircraft.

Also please advise me of the correct address and fee for this service. Also forward me what documents and photographs I need for this service. As well is you would like a self addressed pre paid envelope to return my passport and Visa.

Dear Sir/Mdm,

Some of the officers from Singapore Police Force are going to Vietnam for Special Task Force Training Programme, conducted by Vietnam Ministry of Public Security. Among them, 3 x officers are Nepalese Citizen and holding Nepalese passports.

They are going Vietnam through air.
Is it possible for them to obtain visa on arrival or do they need to get visa stamped into their passports before their arrival to Vietnam.

Your clarification on this would be much appreciated.

I am an American and in Shanghai, I hope to take the bus from Nanning,  China, to Hanoi and pick up the visa at the border. I understand I can’t pick up the visa at the border, but can you let me pick it up in Shanghai?

Hi there, I will travel to Viettnam from China on 1st October til 8th October for tourism. Do I need to get a visa in advance or can I get it upon arrival at the airport? I am an Italian citizen, is there any particular indication or procedure? Looking forward to your prompt reply!

My partner and i are wanting to apply for Vietnam visas online. Ive heard a lot of websites are not legit and do not get accepted in Vietnam, is this correct?

We leave for china on friday the 8th august and fly from hong kong to hanoi on the 5th of september.

We want a 3 month multiple entry visa for Vietnam as we will exit into Cambodia and enter back into Vietnam. We have our flight booked to hanoi and an exit flight booked on the 6th of november from ho chi min back to Australia. Do we need to provide the dates in between our initial entry date and our last exit date? As we have not planned our trip precisely and do not know when we are exiting into Cambodia and entering back into Vietnam, is this a problem or and do we need exact dates?

My husband and I are traveling via land from Phnom Penh, Cambodia to Ho Chi Minh City, Vientnam in October this year. My understanding is that a visa approval letter applied for on line is not acceptable at a land crossing, only at the international airports. Would you please advise me how is the easiest and best way to apply for our visas for Vietnam please. I do not want to have any difficulty crossing the border from Cambodia to Vietnam. Is the urgent visa (4 hour option ) start counting from the purchase or is the 4 hour start during Vietnam working time ?

Does the approval letter need to be printed or can the letter simply be showed electronically by Phone or Laptop device ?

Read on vietnam-landingvisa website that since 2009 Vietnam Immigraton has only issued 3 months visa as longest visa and not 6 months.. I want to visit and open bank account and appears they want to see 6 months visa. Once I have bank account in Vietnam then I submit bank info to Canada and they will direct deposit my Canada Pension there and it takes 4-5 months for them to do this..

So after I visit and open account I return in about 5-6 months to live there knowing I have bank account and direct deposit from Government of Canada in place. so is it possible to get 6 months visa or is 3 months the longest that is issued?
